Game Planner

Contract type
Contract employee to start, with an opportunity to convert to a regular employee role.
Compensation
Compensation and benefits are decided through discussion, based on the candidate's abilities and actual compensation in their previous role.
Work location
Fully remote.
Responsibilities
Game planning, specifications, level design, balance tuning, production coordination, and collaboration with engineering and art.
Requirements
Experience in game planning or specification writing. Strong documentation, clear reasoning, and remote communication skills.
Notes
Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, live titles, or Steam-oriented development is welcome.

Programmer

Contract type
Contract employee to start, with an opportunity to convert to a regular employee role.
Compensation
Compensation and benefits are decided through discussion, based on the candidate's abilities and actual compensation in their previous role.
Work location
Fully remote.
Responsibilities
Implement game features, development tools, web or business applications, external service integrations, and improvements to existing projects.
Requirements
Development experience in C#, C++, TypeScript, Python, or a similar language. Ability to work with Git, design, debug, and investigate issues.
Notes
Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, API integration, internal tools, or technical prototyping is welcome.

2D Artist

Contract type
Contract employee to start, with an opportunity to convert to a regular employee role.
Compensation
Compensation and benefits are decided through discussion, based on the candidate's abilities and actual compensation in their previous role.
Work location
Fully remote.
Responsibilities
Create and refine 2D assets such as characters, backgrounds, UI, icons, in-game materials, and concept art.
Requirements
A 2D art portfolio. Experience with tools such as Photoshop, CLIP STUDIO PAINT, Illustrator, or Figma.
Notes
Experience creating game-ready assets, UI design, or reviewing outsourced art is welcome.

3D Modeler

Contract type
Contract employee to start, with an opportunity to convert to a regular employee role.
Compensation
Compensation and benefits are decided through discussion, based on the candidate's abilities and actual compensation in their previous role.
Work location
Fully remote.
Responsibilities
Create character, prop, and environment models, including UVs, textures, material setup, and optimization for game engines.
Requirements
A 3D modeling portfolio. Experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, or Substance 3D Painter.
Notes
Experience importing assets into Unity or Unreal Engine, PBR workflows, topology, and optimization is welcome.

3D Animator

Contract type
Contract employee to start, with an opportunity to convert to a regular employee role.
Compensation
Compensation and benefits are decided through discussion, based on the candidate's abilities and actual compensation in their previous role.
Work location
Fully remote.
Responsibilities
Create and adjust 3D animations for characters, enemies, cameras, and event scenes, including in-engine timing and feel.
Requirements
A 3D animation portfolio. Experience with tools such as Maya, MotionBuilder, or Blender.
Notes
Experience with rigs, skinning, motion capture, and animation setup in Unity or Unreal Engine is welcome.

Selection Flow

  1. Document Screening

    We review resumes, work history, portfolios, and related materials to understand experience and fit.

  2. First Interview

    A technical interview with project-side members to review experience, technologies used, and possible areas of contribution.

  3. Final Interview

    An interview with company management to confirm shared values and whether Nobilwing can provide the working environment the candidate is looking for.

  4. HR Terms Discussion

    After passing the final interview, HR discusses and agrees on contract type, compensation, start timing, work style, and related conditions with the candidate.

Training and Seminar Support

We support work-related training, seminars, and conferences such as CEDEC and other professional events.

Game Event Visits

There may be opportunities for company-supported visits to events such as TGS, GDC, and gamescom.

Club Activity Support

Employees may create internal clubs, with partial company support for approved activity costs.

Working Time and Leave

Flexible Work System

Depending on the work, employees can choose and adjust working hours with a high degree of flexibility.

Holidays and Seasonal Leave

We provide a five-day workweek, public holidays in both Japan and China, summer leave, and year-end holidays.

Paid Annual Leave

Paid annual leave is granted from 10 to 20 days per year depending on length of service.

Special Leave

Special leave is available for life events such as marriage, bereavement, childbirth, and related circumstances.
